Off the back of two promotions in two seasons, MIRFC 1st XV are entering Counties 2 (Level 8) next season in what will be a tough step up into a higher level of rugby. The current coaching set up consists of the Head Coach (Andrew Windridge), and DoR (Alex Lacey).

The club are interested in appointing a backs coach with the preferred following experience and traits:
• Minimum Level 2/ERCA qualifications
• Minimum 2 years coaching at level 9 or higher; however, all candidates with the right attitude will be considered e.g. current youth age group head coach
• Intimate knowledge of backs play from set piece and transition (attack and defence)
• The ability to build periodised training blocks in line with overarching playing and coaching philosophies
• The capacity to coach groups skills, or 1-2-1 skills with players
• Player-centric attitude with a mastery-focused coaching style
